HELP FUND NOWAR-PAIX ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS!

URGENT NEED: 

Nowar-paix supplies the “piggy-bank” and sound system for many of the antiwar and social justice rallies and events in Ottawa. Your money will help purchase a badly needed sealed, portable battery to be used to operate the sound system used in these events.

HOW DONATIONS ARE USED:

Donations help nowar-paix provide resources for marches, teach-ins and other actions related to our goals.

Expenses include:

  • providing sound systems for events
  • paying transportation costs of out-of-town speakers
  • providing legal aid for demonstrators (requiring expensive phone rentals)
  • renting radios for communicators during marches
  • printing pamphlets and posters
  • paying for this website
Goals
NOWAR-PAIX is non-profit with no paid employees. We are not registered as a charity, so cannot provide receipts for income tax purposes. We make careful use of our funds to advance our goals:
  • To oppose terrorism in all its forms, the U.S. call to war, and Canada's participation therein.
  • To oppose racism, including anti-semitism, and the racist backlash against people of colour, including attacks on immigrant and refugee rights.
  • To oppose the erosion of civil liberties in the name of national security.
