U.S. soldiers who oppose the illegal war in Iraq face punishment if they return to the US. We are working to let these soldiers seek asylum in Canada. During the Vietnam war close to 80,000 Americans chose to come to Canada. Today, the illegal war in Iraq has forced conscientious war objectors to look to Canada once more for refuge.
