SIGN AND BANNER MAKING PROJECT COMMITTEE....

I shall be... at the PSAC building on the....

15th, and the 16th and the 17th, and the 18th as well.

....we will be working on ATTEMPTING to make the best and most clever
and professional signs of any demo ever!

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: I need folks to bring whatever they can spare as
far as cans of spray paint, paint, bristol board, cardboard, bits of
wood... whatever you can find from past demos that we can use to make
new again for this demo. IF you have a GREAT WHITE SHEET or TWO can you
please email me as soon as possible so we can save the money by not
having to go out and buy new stuff for that.

I am attempting to bring in an airbrush professional to do the banners
so they look great and hopefully if the text on them is generic(ish)
will be able to be used again in future demos...

HOWEVER... I have not been told yet what is going to be on the banners
or what the banner slogans should be... there was no vote on this matter.

I FIGURED... that we would probably use the main slogans that are on the
websites and posters because everyone is already familiar with them, and
again, they could be used in future demos.

AGENDA....

15th will be spent gathering material at the PSAC building... so if you
can't drop stuff off (including yourself) early in the day, then try to
bring it by at some point as soon as you can... the sooner we have it,
the sooner we know that it can be turned in to something visually
appealing for the demo.

16th will be spent DOING THE BULK OF THE WORK... this is going to be a
hard and long day. We'll be doing a bit of assembly line work for some
of the signs and having to decide how many of each design we need. And
making them... making as much as we can on that day.

17th will be spent doing finishing touches. And hopefully if everything
is completed by then, the airbrush artist will be taking any old t-shirt
you can bring and doing a very quickie job on it for you from one of the
pre-designed anti-bush designs we'll have for you to choose from...
he'll be charging very little for this work (compared to what he usually
charges) .... I'm thinking about $10 and splitting that money with STOP
SPP to offset the costs of the materials in the first place.

18th will be spent making sure that everything is SAFE and working
properly and perhaps doing a few more shirts... but we'll play things by
ear by then.



I NEED TO KNOW WHO I'VE GOT WORKING WITH ME ON THIS!

I NEED TO KNOW WHO CAN BRING EXTRA COOL IDEAS AND EXTRA HANDS AND
PERHAPS TAKE ON AN ENTIRE PROJECT ON THEIR OWN ... (for example building
a big Bush Puppet or some such thing) .... I NEED TO KNOW WHICH DAY YOU
CAN COME IN TOO!

SO EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW .... TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, TELL ME
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO HELP US OUT, LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE BUILDING
SOMETHING IN YOUR BASEMENT ALREADY SO WE CAN FIGURE OUT WHERE TO WORK IT
IN TO THE MARCH!

IF YOU CAN ONLY BRING BEER.... thats okay... I don't think anyone will
complain if that is all you can contribute.
